How it works
Point the camera
With Visual Intelligence on iPhone, point the camera at a barcode or cover and choose Volumes. It tells you whether the book is in your library, on your wishlist or lent out. If it isn't, add it there and then.
Or just ask
Say “Do I own this in Volumes” to Siri, or search your library by title or author. “Search Volumes for…” opens the library already filtered.
Scan now, decide later
Quick Scan from the Lock Screen or the Camera Control button collects barcodes without unlocking. Later, add each one to your library or your wishlist, or discard it.

Does this need an internet connection?
Checking against your own library happens on your device. Looking up a book you don't have needs a connection.
Which iPhones support Visual Intelligence?
Visual Intelligence is an Apple feature on recent iPhones. On any iPhone you can ask Siri or search instead.
